In today's world (and I think this will continue to be true!), technical skills will get you in the door, but soft skills are what help you thrive and stay successful. I think we're moving towards a work environment that demands these skills. Automation is taking over many routine tasks. Therefore, it is our ability to connect, collaborate, empathize with our team that will prove successful.
I think communication is very important and making sure your getting you thoughts and ideas across effectively.
What are your thoughts on soft skills and there importance? I think teamwork is important and need of input from others. I think that is how creative in the material happens through teamwork.
Writing means learning and is validated in the classroom. Make sure the environment is positive and comfortable. Can do group writing. Provide timely feedback that is linked to the goals of the assignment. Help students understand they will do many drafts before they arrive at the final product.
What I learned from this lesson is to assist students solve their ethical dilemmas by brainstorming solutions. Help students do self management via live long learning and how to deal with their issues. To get them to become better at critical thinking assist them in their self awareness by actively listening, shifting them to be more involved in their learning, and communicating more effectively.

The course discussed writing as the foundation of students learning style and critical thinking. If a student can develop their writing skills and have them critiqued then they will become better with communication. Communication in the professional arena is an area that is in need of improvement. As an instructor we are the resource and critic for them to practice and perfect their skills.
To me as a teacher, it is paramount that it is not only necessary to "have" or perform these "generic soft skills", but also quite important to adjust those "personal abilities and attitudes" to each specific environment.
In this regard, I would define the "environment" as the students -and everything related to their educational capabilities- and the teaching conditions in which you deliver your classes.
I truly believe it is quite important for a good teacher to successfully identify and quickly analyze the different key aspects that involve and have an impact on both, your students and learning and teaching conditions to effectively apply your "soft skills abilities and tips"
