It is` really about isolating the trouble makers talking to them on the side or in private.This is important because it is not highschool. People are paying to attend career colleges it's their investment, no excuses for distractions.

To Remind Students or Not to Remind Students

I remind them to a point they are adults, at the begaining of the term I give them a

block form weekly schedule that has all the times of quizes and assignments. you would be suprised by how

many students lose that schedule or don't look it up on the student portal

Now I have a better understanding of how to reach out to students with disabilities especially when a course is starting,being able to identify their specific needs and accommodate them into the class without having the feeling that they are not on equal ground as the other students.

Recruitment Practices Need to Change

It is all about good ethics and honesty in recruitment of potential students. Let candidates know what their career options will be when they graduate and how important hard work persistence and research into what future paths they can take otherwise potential students are not getting the whole picture of their educational investment.
