Good afternoon.

I have learned /refresh rules and regulations are necessary to be/stay in compliance. Additionally director responsibilities and duties.

After identifyig a students potential stressor it is equally inportant to intervene using the the 8 stages of intervention process.

Remembering that we can offer support and guidance in finding a solution and using the 8 ssteps or stages of the intervention process is very helpful while acknowledging that the responsability of solutioning the problem relies in the student.

i learned that..

"Academic Erosion (feeling unimportant) and Academic Stagnation (feeling dead-ended) are the strongest specific influences on attrition, and their effect is increased or decreased by the perceived level of School Commitment."

therefore, our commitment to student success means reognizing a potential stressor and exhausting all measures within ones means to encourage, assist and help the student in any way possible so that the student not only continues in school but succeeds as well.

On a general note, as an online instructor one must have a clear path on what and how you will be instructing online students. This, not only to keep them engaged but also to help them find motivation and  keep them motivated to ensure their success from start to finish.
