I am interested in learning more abou the Trevor Project. I deal in a very specific area that has increased speacial populations and would be helpful to further educate myself on ways to help our students. 

For me, the number one thing I need to remember is to listen and not try to "fix" the problem. 

It is so important to be open to your students. I often try to give examples of when I have personally struggled to help humanize my students feeling. Cyberbullying is so hurtful. There is no means to an end and when a student is not able to see the light at the end of the tunnel they tend to give up; so sad. Social media is horrific to adolecents. 

I didn't realize that a firearm was the most used method of suicide among teens. I also iike the non-porfit SAVE. I think the more knowledge we have the more available we will become.
