In this session, I learned how to effectively discuss with a student a program to see if it is the right fit for them. 

Helping students to access resources and also understand/explore what resources are available to them is important to help them be successful in any program. 

Being an active listener helps you to better understand your student's individual situation and how you might assist them to be successful in your program or figure out if this is the right program for them. 

In this module, I learned that there is always room for improvement in your enrollment process, so it is important to review and continually evaluate your process.  It is also very impactful to be mindful of your attitude and energy in meetings with potential and new students.  Finally, it is important to have a framework you work from in enrollment to ensure consistency across all students and have the ability to evaluate your process as whole.
