I learned we have to effectively communicate and collaboration to achieve our goals. Whether we agree or disagree we need to find a solution that is best for company, students, ECT.
I learned what effective communication is with different generations and how to use it.
I learned information on each generation and communication style. I plan to apply it to my day to day interactions and be self aware of who I'm talking to so that what we can have common ground and connect.
I learned that connecting and showing students you're a real person will help students feel comfortable. As well as that the they have real life experience with what they're teaching and are hands on.
I learned that building connections and credibility through out the departments will make students feel comfortable and less likely to have "buyers remorse".
I have learned that being transparent and showing that we are always here to help will help with student retention.
