Add review of rubric and suggest both self and peer assessment.  Suggest review of feedback on each assignment so that student can see gains/improvements. 

Knowing the rubrics for the course and explaining them to the students is of highest importance.  Design of rubrics is time-consuming, however, when done correctly, provides clarification for both student and instructor on where points are gained vs. lost for any particular assignment. 

I have been able to reflect on the engagement methods I am already using and create some additional strategies for motivation & engagement in my online. courses like EBP, Ethics & Legal, and Leadership. It is always beneficial to have some guided reflection on my current methods and areas for improvement.
