Having an online presence is important, whether it be via discussion boards or zoom sessions, it is important for the student to know you are available. 

E-learning is ket to student success. 

Practice demonstrations before class, this will ensure it will work and facilitate continuity among other courses. 

It is important to ensure you have introduced yourself to the student and allowed them to introduce themself to the instructor. Creates rapport that will be important moving forward. 

Having a checklist of items to cover so that you stay on track. Its easy to get off track especially while communicating with students. 

I learned to educate adult learners you must maintain professionalism and that learning is the most important part of education. Get out of the box and keep studnet success at the forefront of your mind. It is not about you ( the instructor) but rather about what you bring to the table.
