About me

For over 35 years as an experienced creative director, I’ve worked at top advertising agencies including DDB, DMB&B, BBDO and McCann Worldgroup, where I’ve consistently led and developed award-winning campaigns and managed groups along the way.



I’ve developed and executed a wide range of integrated, cross-channel marketing and promotional campaigns for clients such as Anheuser-Busch, McDonald’s, GM, Mazda, BP, Humana, to name a few.



I thrive in an energetic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and have a passion for quality and originality. My technical skills are leading edge. I’m proficient in Adobe CS6, iMovie, Microsoft Word, Keynote and Powerpoint. 



I continue to consult, create, and strategize with clients across the country. Currently, I’m the founder and owner of Adrado, a creative consultancy that helps clients succeed in growing their business. 



As a member of the American Advertising Federation, I've judged ten shows since 2008.

Since 2005 I’ve been an instructor in Chicago, IL. I’ve taught 16 different courses in advertising, graphic, and digital design at Columbia College Chicago, The International Academy of Design & Technology, and Harrington College of Design.

I’ve mentored over 600 students during that time. A number of my students have gone on to get positions in the industry. Many have called to tell me it was my courses that helped them get started.

Activity

Since I still get the opportunity to work in my field, I try to absorb those experiences and incorporate it into my teaching. It's important that as educators we stay current. The world changes too quickly. It's easy to fall behind.
