There are a number of ways to evaluate in order to gain valuable feedback to continue to revise and sharpen your information. It's important to get that feedback and actually utilize it to build a stronger course.

Feedback should be consistent between students, grading based on rubrics, but all feedback should be specific to the student you're speaking with. In addition, you should be open to further clarification and discussion based on your information given and how the student receives it.

Students are more apt to have a more concrete understanding of materials when they can not only communicate with one another, but also use scaffolding to build information on top of itself for learning purposes.

Be consistent, but keep content up to date as well. Make sure you're looking for additional resources that may better help the learning environment.

Students may be challenging at times or in a challenging situation themselves. It's important to outreach to mitigate negative situations when possible and encourage students to participate in their educational journey.

It's important to give students the feedback they need in a timely manner that promotes building confidence in the material, as well as learning in the way best for the student.

To help students be successful, we must meet them where they are (figuratively, not literally necessarily) by giving the support they need and allowing them to understand the knowledge and assistance they can receive from you. Be present!

Finding ways to reach students to engage with them is necessary to keep students on top of their assignments within the course. Not every student wants to engage in the same ways so it's important to determine what will work best for each student.
