I have learned the reiterated importance of keeping a Resource Notebook, a review of Institution Staff and who does what, similarities and differences between licensing and accreditation, transfer policies, the importance of training and meetings, and will apply it by further learning about my institution and putting together the Resource Notebook.

This module helps me understand the importance of networking with the Education, Placement and Student Services departments to gain full knowledge of programs and opportunities offered. It also reiterated the importance of having knowledge of the institution’s marketing plan.

Learned about the importance of clarity in disclosure of admissions requirements, information and importance on Catalog and Enrollment Agreement, tuition assistance, form completion and signature, applicant rights and responsibilities. 

I have learned the importance of learning the Admissions Rules and Regulations in order to perform my Admissions role with clarity and accuracy, enrolling qualified students that will benefit from my institution’s programs. I have learned key definitions, how to create a resource book with the key documents that will support my role - statues and rules, information about my institution via the Catalog, marketing plans and other institution policies and procedures.
