Most important point is consistency throughout the modules so students do not get confused with a new or different set of rules to accomplish with each new module. Students should be able to meet course objectives at the end of the module and the course content should achieve students meeting the objectives for the class.

I also teach online and my main job is corporate nursing. I fly between four states monitoring the surgical services department and have some time at the airports to do discussions etc. Otherwise I make sure to grade in the evenings and encourage my students to use the Remind app if they need me or schedule a google meet on Fridays if they are really having issues since i'm home by Thursday night (usually). I plan to teach in retirement so only take one class right now, at a time. I love teaching!

We had changed from one learning management system to another and it wss a challenge to get to know the system in the beginning. I had students aking me questions which i did not know the answers to.Luckily it all worked out so I make sure to be extra vigilant with my new students to make sure they know how to get to what they need in the course.
