The phrase color blind may not be a good phrase when we look at it literally

No two people are the same. Traet people as individuals

The instructor must dell the student on the value of their chosen profession and importance of achieving their goals

Be creative and show respect. Grant every student an opportunity to establish their identity early in the classroom. It is important that each student be a contributor to the learning experience

This is very helpful. I have worked with students straight out of high school and adult learners. I have   spent quite a bit of time motivating various students.  I find it interesting that this training points out the difference between mentoring and babysitting.

Varying your method of delivery seems to be the best way to keep students engaged.

The students may arrive with established roles within the cohort. 

Deliver the framework and expectations asap so that students understand the course objectives and guidelines for success

ESL classes are not always offered. It is difficult for an instructor when the student cannot understand the questions
