Respectful discourse is a great way to ensure that students gain from their online experience.  Teaching students how to disagree is vital. 

It's important to allow the students to showcase their experience and knowledge. 

Authentic assessments provides a pure form of assessment so the student can clearly show their strengths. 

I love that they mentioned portfolios.  I love the use of portfolios to illustrate and document the student's achievement. 

The information covers basic concepts of creating a course with instructional considerations. 

Dynamic learning allows students to learn with scaffolded instruction in a way that fosters learning.   

Understanding the variety of different instructional graphics that can be used in a given course.
