The purpose of questions are to build rapport, guide dicovering, encourage exploration, and aid in problem solving. Powerful questions have simplicity, purposem, energy, possibility, and exploration.
Principles of Communication:

Professional Judgement:
There are 4 types of Professional Judgement: 1.Adjustment to elements to EFC 2. Adjusting COA 3. Dependency Override 4. Establish eligibility for Unsub when parent refuses to complete the FAFSS and refuses to support student. All professional judgements are differents and should be handled on case by case basis and proper documents are required to process.
Comment Codes: There are hundreds of comment codes but not all are C-Flags or C-Codes that need resolution. The most common C-Flags/ C-codes are in the following areas: NSLDS, SSN, Selective Service, and Citizenship. If order for any aid to be awarded all C-Codes need to be resolved. Verification Process: There are few verification groups that require additional documentation from the student. There are exceptions to some circumstances related to spouses and parents, but student documentation should be verified if selected for verificaiton. The IRS Data Retrival Tool is the best way to clear some verification groups.
Application Process Module: There are 5 ways for students to complete the FAFSA and 3 ways to process calculation data for the EFC/Dependency Model.
