First, I ask the students to introduce themselves to the class and to me the instructor. I then also use a tool that helps me to see how each students learn best within an online environment and also within the classroom. I also make sure that I encourage my students each week to do their best within the course.

This course was very helpful to me as an instructor. I learned some very important facts about how to better understand the different types pf testing/assessments that can be given during an online course. I will certainly apply the information that I have learned to my courses.

I agree with your Terri. I think that its very imporatnt to show the students from the start that we as the instructors do care about the students learning while they are within the course. I send out weekly reminders and also do weekly outreaches to the whole class and also contact the students who are on the border line of passing and failing the course. 

i think that pre-assessments are good to give to students before starting new material within the class. This allows you as the instructor to see what the students know about the subject.

I participated in Module EL 102. This gave me more insight on how to strategies more within the class room and also how to help students get more involve with the class. It was great knowledge for me.
