I have a question. I have a couple of students that I suspect may have learning disabilities and are unwilling to ask for assistance. How do you assist these students?
In the career college I teach at, I find that we have students in our classrooms that are on different levels, across the board. What are good suggestions to bring everyone to a level where we can learn together?
The school I teach in doesn't have a lot of diversity. How would you recommend creating diverse groups? I often number off so that people are forced to work with people they don't always talk to, but it can be difficult when we have small classes and everyone seems to be so similar.
I will admit that I am not always great at using the entire classroom, but definitely see the value in covering the entire classroom - or floating. If I am concentrating on a certain item or writing things on the board, I find that I end up staying close to or near the front. How do you keep yourself moving around the room?
I do my best to keep grades as up to date as possible at all times. What other ways do you have for keeping students on track? Bobbi Bricker
Do you have any tips or tricks to become better at studying? Often times I run into students who seemingly do not have good study skills. Bobbi Bricker

Hi- In my classroom, my biggest goal is to help students discover different ways of thinking. To bring them to a new understanding of the world and to help them realize something they hadn't before. I think that many times people are not as successful as they could be, because they are never challenged to think outside of their "box." What is your challenge to your students?
I think often when instructors are new, they forget that they have the knowledge necessary to be a good instructor. Sometimes it takes practice, but realizing that you know more than your students do, proves that you have something to offer. How do you remind yourself that you always have something to offer your students? Bobbi Bricker

What are some ways that you use to keep your distance with students? Many times I have chatty students who want to know about my personal life. I do my best to keep things professional, but what are some tips to get better at this? Bobbi Bricker
I often have issues in my classroom when only one or two people are open to discussion and speaking up. What do you find is helpful in getting more people to speak up, especially when you know there are more than one or two people with an opinion? Bobbi Bricker
