I agree with Lars, that this was 'very' imformative. Teaching in a program that is two years in length creates a need to stimulate and challenge the students in new ways to prevent stagnation in their learning. Appraoching each of their courses in the traditional lecture format allows the learners to get stuck in routine and repetitive behavior that limits how far they can take thier learning. Designing more stimulating classrooms with any of the 'flipped' classroom ideas mentioned in the course would help "wake up" the learners and stimulate new ways of thinking about what they are learning.
