As an instructor working with students that are learning online it is important build a rapport with your students to understand what they have going on in their personal lives to help guide them through the online programs. Assessing everyone's ability will allow each student to achieve their goals and gain the knowledge they need to apply what they have learned. Along with keeping them engaged to help with continue and finish the course.

As instructors/ facilitators it is important to enhance students to utilize their critical thinking skills to help bridge the gap between what they are learning in theory and clinicals. Critical thinking skills helps the student engage in activities that will help them understand the material from a different perspective

I like having the Rubric to help with grading and utilizing it as a guide to facilitate questions to ask students and myself when grading

Assessing one's attitude towards incorporating new learning methods and teachings are important because as instructors/facilitators we are here to guide the students and we need to understand that everyone does not learn the same. SO stepping outside of your comfort zone  by incorporating active learning and can help student understand the concepts and content  better.

I have learned the different ways to respond to students when they express their concerns and emotions of not "receiving" help from teachers. The students are active learners and all the learning is on them and as the instructor they should only look to us for guidance.

I learned with e-learning there are some difficulties with processing and keeping information organized. With this I will ensure when emailing students to note the topic and course of discussion. In addition being a support system

What stood out to me in this section is the three different learning styles: avoidant, dependent, and competitive; which helps to understand the aspects of the students during the course

Getting to know your students will help with building trust, which will help lead to them coming to you when they are not understanding the material/course
