I learned that multiple forms of evaluation are important. I found this to be true in an online course I am taking with another university I work for. The instructor provides video walkthrough feedback with audio to address our strengths and weaknesses. It blew my mind and helped me be even more deeply engaged.

I learned more about the specifics needed in a rubric. This was helpful to me because I am a new lecturer and have never used a rubric before. However, I found them helpful and they reduced my anxiety as an undergraduate student. I will definitely be using this.

Scaffolding was one of the main takeaways for me here. I had heard of scaffolding before, but I didn't realize it was broken down into eight important steps. I will definitely use this as I take into account what students already know from their work and personal lived experience as I build an understanding of course concepts.

The most important thing I learned is how important it is to be consistent. I'm guilty of sometimes being inconsistent with formatting so this was helpful to reconsider.
