A great leader has to be able to pivot and communicate effectively with their staff. Being intentional and building relationships through active listening and engagement will help in creating an environment any team member would want to be a part of.

So much of todays world is distracted by a multitude of things. Part of being an effective leader and better person is learning how to actively listen. This will help build relationships as well as help in day to day activities.

The vast majority of what people communicate is nonverbal. It's important to be mindful and intentional with your words but also with how you present yourself nonverbally.

Be direct and intentional when communicating. Communication is vital for growth of an individuals and a company.

Make time for yourself and don't be discouraged by hard times in the career. Every path has its trials and tribulations, and anything worth doing will have hardships. Be intentionally with your time and find healthy outlets to help with those stressful times.

Be the leader you want your leaders to be. Don't skip steps and have integrity when submitting data/assignments.
