Active learning is beneficial to our students and the one thing I can do to help my students be successful is to be prepared myself. 

I learned about the details of Title IX. As a parent of a college student, I am grateful for these laws. 

I am not very good with names. 

Asking a student to leave my class sounds like a very difficult day. 

I have had the angry student. No solutions presented were good enough. 

I have learned that it is okay to make the lessons fun and engaging. 

I learned that as a facilitator for learning, on of my biggest jobs is helping my students (or giving them the tools) to overcome obstacles (some physical and some internal).
