Learning the difference between synchronous an asynchronous session and strategies. Identification of the different learning styles and the strategies to encourage participation during the discussions. We also learned the guidelines to evaluate discussions.
The way to project presence and authority as well as creating rapport with student in the online environment.
To have a clear picture of e-learning, be efficient and effective at it.
Utilize different delivery methods to address all learning styles. Prepare for and practice it. Develop rapport with the students.
Take time to get to know the class, their name pronunciation, how they prefer to be addressed. Allow them to get to know you. Not only this is a good ice breaker but allows students to feel more than a number.
Timely preparation, welcome students every day, make them feel important, because they are!
