Opening activities to aid in preparation for a project or assignment, has been very helpful. 

As teachers, we need to adjust the methods of instruction to reach all students. Students learn differently and knowing that early can help the student's progress.

Getting to know the type learners your students are crucial, and by asking what they like to do such as hobbies and interests can help. 

Using the idea of mind mapping and using verbal and auditory to aid in learning material.

Use different methods of teaching to ensure all students are grasping the information. 

Making sure lecture doesn't exceed 15-18 minutes at a time secondary to majority of learner's attention span is within that time frame. Also making sure not exceed 5-7 steps per objective to ensure student success.

It is important to know what motivates your students to aid in sucess.

Making sure the students understand the syllabus and course objectives.

Instructors should exhibit professionalism, and be able to teach in different settings. 

That it is a good idea to set expectations to limit procrastination. To also communicate and make sure students have a contingency plan if something goes wrong.
