I learned it is important to establish rapport with our students. We want to make them know we want to be there and why is it important for them to be there. I will incoporte this by doing an introduction of students. Who they are and why they choose nursing 

It is important to make the students feel that you know each of them on a personal level and you will do what it takes to make them succeed. I already make it a point to try and know everyone by name. Being virtual now, I make it a priority to reach out to students and make sure there is nothing I can help them with. If I see the student is struggling, I make it a point to see what I can do to help them. 

I have learned the importance of using student's experiences to help enhance learning. As well, as working with the students to find ways that best cater to their learning needs.
