What I gleaned the most from was the list of Concluding Actions. If we act with all of those qualities, we are going to set our students up for success.

Creating a disillusion with a student can be absolutely detrimental to their confindence and motivation to continue with their education.

It is very crucial to be intentional, accurate and factual with all information be presented to potential or current students.  Providing information that may not be completely true could be detrimental in decision making.

Being vigilant with word choices in conversations about the program, outcomes, ratings, rankings and such is foremost as to not imply inaccurate information.

Making sure you are delivering accurate information is vital.  Our students need to feel properly informed and guided.  

I was actually surprised that not all schools have to be accredited.  Learning about the Triad of Regulations was interesting in that there are so many different entities that go into establishing a higher learning institution. I would want my students to be knowledgeable of the quality of education they will be receiving and how it is monitored.

Establishing a Culture of Compliance is crucial to the success of the institution. As leaders, mentors and role models for our students, it is vital that we are not just trying to do the right thing but also considering the needs of our students in order to guide them in their educational journey.
