I learned that there are apps and devices that can help those with learning disabilities. 

In this section I learned about the stages of reading and how this might be difficult to someone with a learning disabiity. I also learned that 10% of the population suffers from a learning disability. 

This module spoke about a students' postsecondary plans and how an LD impacts their plans. Rarely do employers provide their employees with modifications. It is important students become self-advocates and focus on the strong abilities they have. 

I have learned what the definition of a learning disability is, how it can appear in students and what it hinders students in. I have learned about specific learning disabilities, such as Dyscalulia.
