It was beneficial learning about synchrononus and asynchronous discussions. Students have different learning styles and some are faster than others when chatting. With asynchronous disussions it will be beneficial to students in different time zones and students who tends to dominate a chat room.  

Establishing a rapport with the students by allowing them to state and post a bio at the beginning is a nice way to start the course off.

When instructing online, I will do my best to promote attrition by keeping course records, communicating and counseling students, and resolving student conflicts. As a director, I will empower my team to strive to be consistent with the same areas noted. 

It is important to make sure all students know where to recieve technical support if need
