I will using the syllabus template I use at the college level and the high school level.  It have all the policy stated, but I will have to do some editing to match the high school requirements. 

I like the idea of student's video.  This give them chance to explain what they know and relearn what they do not know.  

I like the different lesson activity,  SWOT and four corner give students to express their opinions and quick way to asset the class progress. 

I learn that I need to keep students in mind when writing lesson plans that includes active talking, fail success,  and student center.

Student's engagement is very important. I think if students feel free to talk to class without worry of getting a bad grade, they will be more willing to engage more in a positive way.
