There are many different techniques that can be utilized to assess learning of objectives.  I think that utilizing different methods help give a more rounded picture of how the class is performing

I really enjoy using alternative assessments, especially during interactive case studies. 

It was interesting to reflect upon the many different authentic assessments that already take place in the courses that I teach. 

I have not heard of the term 'authentic' assessments, nor did I realize the difference of this type of assessment.

The differences between types of questions and evaluating knowledge

to try different methods of questioning throughout the lecture to facilitate a deeper level of understanding by the student.  Can use the objectives and summary of the lesson plan and pose as a question.

It is important to recognize the different learning styles of students and to incorporate opportunities for different styles into the lesson
