It is important to know the difference between sexual harrassment, domestic violence, Stalking and Dating Violence.  Iterium measures can be very important to make sure that the violence or act does not get repeated.

It should be encouraged for victims to report the crime to the poilice. 

Regardless of whether or not the report was reported to the police, the investigation should continue.  Once it is reported to the police, the coordinator should still continue to investigate unless the police request them to put it on hold.  Then at time, the coordinator is responsible for continuing the internal investigation.

The role of the Title IX coordinator is of utmost importance to be available, knowledgable, accessible and present.  If there are other campuses, the coordinator can appoint a deputy.   I did not realize that as a responsible employee even reading about it on social media, makes it so you should report it.  Good information to know especially with all the social media services and apps that are out there.

I have taken this training previously but I really have only thought of it as an on campus training.  It is important as an on campus discussion but even more of a discussion for  online education.  An online class requires posts to discussions boards and emails.  I think it is important for all to understand the proper Etiquettewhen posting.  It is also very easy to hide behind a keyboard and sexually harass others.
