There was an encyclopedia of data in this module. Ir could have been acieved with less stress on the individyual if it were written in two parts. Other than the lengthy dialogue, the information was fairly informative.

Classroom Management

This course really helped me to understand some of my students. I teach at a career college where students have to often save up for months/years to attend. There are no scholarships or financial aid federally so you would think that would be motivation enough to perform well. I see these quiet students, cheating students, uninvolved students daily and I think to myself, "Why are they not involved after paying all that money?" After this course I realize I need to provide more engaging curriculum that will involve more.

I agree. If we truly reflect on ourselves then we will undoubtedly redefine the way we do things, especially in the classroom!

Generational Differences

Each generation is unique and I enjoyed learning about what they thrive on. For example, the traditionalist generation loves their "stuff" and they hate wasting time. It's understandable considering they lived through the great depression. I want to make sure and remember things like that when working with prospective students. It may just be one of the reasons they choose to enroll at our facility.

reverse delegation

After delegating the task of CCST training to a subordinate due to personal hectic schedules and a heavy workload, the employee reverse delegated the task back to me because of the time limit set by the software and the already busy work schedule the employee had. I accepted the reverse delegation, rearranged my already busy schedule, and spent four hours online with the training modules because the TWC requirement is critical for our continued work.
