The various personality models represent different ways of identifying major personality characteristics.  

Collaborative learning and Problem-based Learning are good options to initiate Active Learning with students.  These options also offer opportunities for real-world learning. 

Rubrics can be used to assess Active Learning activities.  

Active learning typically requires more upfront time and effort by the instructor in order to employ it. 

In active learning, the student takes on more responsibility for his/her own learning.  This should result in the student being more engaged with the content and facilitate the learning process.  

Revisions should be tracked and archived.  

Feedback must be timely to be useful.  A Word document with common feedback help the instructor be more efficient. 

It is important to find a work-life balance and to establish office hours. 

It is important to know what support is available to assess what time management strategies may need to be employed. 

Providing captioning on videos and alt text on photos are two ways to make course content more accessible.
