The importance of having an online community is critical for students. The community can work together and give feedback as well. It a great way to build a team relationship as well.

Technology is amazing, so much can be done with easy of convenience. Students can navigate form some many different sources. I would like to see more videos learning, just to interact with students. Many professors only know students by name and not face and vice versa. Sad world, however a lifestyle of the new gen.

Living in a technology world, I think students has to be engaged and be interactive  in tech world. However, it is crucial that  the on ground learning still stands. Online courses can work both ways. The advantages of online learning can be very convenient for adult learners with small children, transportation issues and medical issues or caring for family member with special needs. I was an online learner and it worked great for me because of my situation.

The disadvantages of online learning are not being able to have a direct contact with instructors to explained materials in very easy to learn ways, the hands on are not there as well. Technology can be a pain and very frustration especially in deadlines. Students have their focuses on other things… >>>

My main "take away."

Consistency, accountability, engagement, hunger for student success and thriving for excellency. We have to own it, we have be the CEO for our success and that success is making sure our students are successful. We must collaborate with our peers and mentor to guide us with struggles so we can become better than yesterday.
