A well prepared portfolio will assist a prospective employer what real life experence the student has accomplished. Students need to know that their online profile is public for everone.
Managing student realistic expectations and showing respect will encourage and bring students up to meet the course passing.
Effecivie listening gives the students a sense that there thought are values and give the instructor knowledge of what the students needs.
The more the student takes responisbility for the material to be learned the more "ownership" they will take.
Our students are all on campus during the entire course.
The total staff has an part in student retention.. If you watch and listen to the students we can address concerns.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
