In this module, I learned effective strategies to help students who tend to procrastination stay focused and successfully complete their studies online. Key recommendations include:

Motivate students to complete their tasks in advance and keep backups on alternate storage devices, thus preventing possible loss of information due to technical problems.
Advise on the importance of knowing in depth the characteristics and limitations of your internet provider, to anticipate and mitigate possible interruptions during the performance of academic activities.
Constantly remind students of institutional policies and specific procedures for the timely delivery of assignments, clearly stating the consequences of delays.

In this segment, I identified ideas for developing effective engagement in synchronous and asynchronous environments. Asynchronous discussions are ideal for complex and critical learning, allowing for greater depth of analysis even if they require more time. On the other hand, synchronous discussions demand shorter intervals and facilitate socialization among participants.

I can apply this when introducing myself to students online, I should include my academic credentials, professional achievements, and relevant experience. These elements are crucial for establishing credibility and context when teaching online classes.

For a online course of algebra college, I try to focus in this ideas:

-Develop a clear, sequential curriculum that progresses from basic algebraic concepts to more advanced topics using a modular design.

-Utilize a LMS as canvas an integrate  video lectures, power point, etc.

-Use communication tool like email, zoom, etc.

- Develop comprehensive, engaging content covering:
  - Algebraic foundations
  - Equation solving
  - Function analysis
  - Graphing techniques
  - Linear and quadratic equations
  - Systems of equations

- Implement varied assessment methods:
  - Weekly quizzes
  - Midterm and final exams
  - Project-based assignments
  - Peer review activities
