I was surprised to find out that reading disabilities do not go away with time and only 10% of people have reading disabilities.

I like the point made about taking notes of mistakes that I make in order to avoid making the same mistake twice.  Notes can be used as a learning tool.

Comment on Michael Mulligan's post: I move center-stage students to the front of the class and assign them more class related responsibilities.  This keeps them more cognizant and attuned to the class happenings.

I'm going to amend my syllabus and be clearer and more firm with my assignment deadlines.
