About me

Just another individual learning and growing in the workplace.

Activity

I've learned to always communicate and implement ideas in the institution to strive and prioritize excellence in customer service. Good experiences comes with good results and a better future for everyone.

We all share one goal - students and wishing for their success. So we must work together to help each other. We must develop a positive foundation inside to give out good energy outside.

Rewarding those who work hard and make them feel appreciated will produce good results.

First impressions and personal connections means a lot to students because they will be spending a lot of time at the school. They would want to feel safe and supported. With the positive support and experience, they will leave the school with good memories and will want to recommend our school to others. It's a win win for everyone!

To have the mindset of treating customers how you would want to be treated. Make them feel good and positive about their experiences that they would want to tell others (online), friends, and family. Doing so builds good reputation, relationships, and a successful business.

Yes, indeed. I would sometimes over detail when a brief, clear and simple message will suffice.

You're only human. Communication comes with practice and will come naturally. I've never been a manager before, but I'm sure it's tough. Meeting people halfway could also be a form of communication. Sometimes, actions does speak louder than words.

I think it all depends on the supervisor. Sometimes we will get kind and understanding supervisors and sometimes we will get close minded supervisors. I've never had a bad supervisor, but I know all supervisors have favorites and will act favorably upon them. I've also met some supervisors that was open to feedback. It honestly depends on the supervisor.

From this course, I have learned to make sure our message addresses our reader's needs. Making sure it is clear, brief, and simple. Positioning our key message strategically; putting our key message at the top of the document. Lastly, explaining why our key message is important for the reader to understand.
