It is important to have a good culure in our schools

To be there and be present 

Its important to build a relationship with the students so that they know that you are there to help them succeed. 

It is important to student to feel like they belong so that they don't feel buyers remorse during the start of the program. Also its important that they know and feel that their decision was right. 

You want to make sure you students feel valued. They are going to be better off taking these courses and while increasing their knowledge. 

Make sure that when doing a demo to only do 5-7 steps at a time. Do demo before you actually do it for the students to make sure everything is in order for them, and it goes smoothly. Make sure everyone can see the demo so no one will feel left out, and not pay attention. Make notes after the training to see where you need to make improvements, or detail to not forget for next time. 

Its important to learn the students name. Its important to set the standards of the first day so that way they know what to expect. Make sure to put class number, your name and intro on board to ease student so that they know they are in the right class. 

Being preapred for class. Have a checklist to make sure all areas are covered. Have a note pad and jot down what shtudent is expecting from you so that you have it next time you meet or email the student. 

Lead by example. Be  good role model for you students, and enjoy what you teach. Be a positive mentor for your students.
