I have learned how to encourage others through extrinsic and intrinsic motivations. To use these skills to help motivate my students better and myself. 

I like that we can handle an angry student in a better way then just letting them continue to disrupting the entire class. Listening to them gives you an opportunity to see what is the underlying issues for their angry

I learned how to use techniques to control my class and get my students more involved. Using colo cards for asking questions each day and combining groups were a couple of them 

I tried to have an ice breaker on the first day of class, but I also learned so far that if the students understand all the expectation from the beginning it will be a smoother experience for them. 

I learned that it is very important to have a system to keep all communication with students in a organized manner, Also that not all students will not be as comfortable to learning online and the challanges are going to be bit different than on campus

I learned the difference between Asynchronous and Synchronous and how to managed them durning the online classes. To make sure to set guidelines for each of them for the discussions

I learned that you can still have a relationship with each of your students while holing the courses online. I still instruct to each of their strengths from the computer

I learned that as an online instructor - there are several ways to interact with the students and make sure that they are undersatnding the information in which you are delivering.
