It's important to follow guidelines on students/prospective students opting out of emails and/or phone calls. If a student/ prospective student is on the DNC/DNE list and they submit an inquiry then they may be contacted up to 3 months prior to the inquiry if they are on the DNC/DNE list.

It's important to set expectations upfront and discuss whether or not one's background could potentially effect employment. 

When enrolling a student it's important to set realistic expectations, and make sure the student meets the necessary qualifications. We want to set the student up for success, not failure. 

It's important to operate with integrity and set realistic expectations for your students. Certain behaviors are unacceptable and are unprofessional in an admissions position. The admissions representative is the face of the school, the first impression given to current and prospective students.
