Safety is the most important thing in a classroom. The student needs to feel safe in order to have the best educational experience. 

Building relationships with students is an important practice and helps develop trust. This helps make a student feel much more comfortable in the learning process.

The advisory committee is there for help and by using them, you can become a more effective teacher and role model.

It is important to draw the line and make it clear to the students that the relationships with be professional only. Having grey lines is never good practice and boundries should be very clear. 

This is my first being a CTE instructor and this course has helped me understand the importance of CTE and how it helps each student. This is a helpful tool for students to understand their own career pathways.
