About me

Activity

Very illuminating course into how the brain accepts, processes, and stores information.  However, it's not just about that; applications of methods tailored to how the brain does this also are included in this course.  It's a fascinating subject; how people actually learn things, and this course definitely helps to illustrate that.

It seems to me that the use of generalization can be an aid - perhaps even a bridge for the semantic learners - to getting students to glean more information from episodic experiences in their lives. If you can call up your own experiences, and get the students to call up theirs (perhaps through writing activities), it might help bridge the gap in some learning situations. -E.A.W.
