The IRS DRT tool is a helpful way to link the student taxes and should be utilized every time a FAFSA is completed if possible. 

The FAFSA can be completed in many ways, either through paper application or online using the studentaid.gov website. This way students can have an idea of what funding will look like before they begin the application processes with schools.
