FERPA is a great way to protect student rights and confidentiallity

I learned about the 3 ways people learn

I learned the improtance of setting the tone with the syllabus, course objectives, getting to know you etc.

I learned the difference between semantic memory and episodic memory.

Most learning happens outside the classroom.  Make class cards to get to know facts about your students

I learned it's important to be a role model to model the behaviors I'm instilingin the learners.
