i think its important to take a closer look at students who are disruptive. There could be a many of reasons, and its important to not right off students as " problem students". 

I like how this section pointed out to ask feedback from the students, this is something i will applying in my classroom. 

i like how they pointed out to sent out a welcome message, but also another message after the first day of class. i will apply this as well. 

 I liked how it pointed out that material should be reviewed in a certain order. i will be more direct with them, that they should also study the same way.  

I like the idea of splitting the students into groups and having them introduce themselves to each other.

i think the idea of using a checklist 

An important point made was to convince students that you love the subject and that you love them. I intend on applying by showing enthusiasm.
