Activity

I learned that by asking the learners to work as a team to choose the correct personal hygiene statements, eliminating cards with the incorrect statements.

I learned that most learners could place the cuff on the bottle and practice blowing up the cuff and learning to release the valve so that pressure comes out at a controlled rate.

I learned that most learners are around patients and families there may be a need to correct or counsel them as they are working with these individuals. 

I learned that many of the students may have been trying to memorize the vacation stories they were hearing, ignoring any visual impressions.  

I learned that it is important as well to realize that even first language English speakers may not have a highly developed academic language proficiency. This is something for instructors to focus on for all students, regardless of their linguistic background. 

I learned that by utilize a variety of teaching strategies, activities, and assignments that will accommodate the needs of students with diverse learning styles, abilities, backgrounds, and experiences.

I learned that when teaching people with diverse background you must also include the information in their native tongue. 

I learned that before a student can start their internship proper documents and forms must be signed.

I have learned that while in internship students can see how it feels to work with that company and if that is a right fit in the company.

Internship is a temporary job that helps student gain hands on skills and communication.
