I liked reading about the culture and core values of the school.

I agree with the treating everyone fairly and impartially, team work, achieving goals, student success, and having trust and being honest.

Doing the right thing and providing accurate information to the student is important, we wouldn't want to put a terrible name on the school or ourselves.

It is important to know your role and read carefully before giving out information, make sure the information is accurate and what you don't know it's okay to guide the student to the best person to answer certain questions they may have.

Providing facts and not promising false information. Making sure I provide truthful information and not lie the students about anything,

Learning the differences of disclosure and representation, disclosure being a factual statement while representation is a written statement to the students.

It is important as a school representative to follow all rules, regulations, and standards. The role of an admissions representative is very important to measure the outcome of graduation and completion rates. There are two accreditors, institutional accreditors and programmatic accreditors. The US Department of Education, administers Title IV funding, to receive funding as a student they must attend a Title IV eligible institution. In a event of not meeting the national standards, the school can face serious consequences.

I really like the culture of building trust, setting high standards, and being transparent with others. As I envision myself starting out in this role, having healthy relationships with employees and students reflects the values and mission of the school and in my personal life.
