I have deepen m  knwolledge about the militaries.  Also how important to be transparent and make sure that all information you give  are completely correct and non misleading.

AS a Faculty, I was aware of the FERPA role but now in my new position as a Registrar, this chapter brought me to a deeper knowledge. The importance of a student privacy is mandatory and has legal consequences if not observed.

I so agree wit you James.  I am pretty new at my position and the first tin g I did was to read the complete catalog of the college to better understand the school.

As a Registrar in an Aviator College, I recieved many applicataion of forign pilots with diplomas from different countries. I am aware that we are supposed to keep originals.  However, foreign countries do not release more than one original copy of diplomas. We can get transcripts but not the diplomas. So, is it adequate to mae copies of the orginal diploma and state that it was accepted based on vieweing the original?

Reply to Mike Lanouette's post:I truly believe that communication and listening skills are imperative. Students need so much support even oo workers. One thing I realize is that emoathy is key to accomplish anything or everything.
