Just completed ED310. Even though I have been in the medical field for 25 years it was nice to have some refreshing new ideas on how to communicate Medical Terminology. Good course.
I have ask students to make up a story using 20 med term words from one of the chapters in the book and read it to the class. This has been quite enjoyable and entertaining.
If I am in a diploma program I have to be in the class. I like teachers that are passionate about what they are teaching and use of variety of deliveries ie film clips, hands on, lecture, power points etc
So I trust that I am offering the same things to my students.
I use these in my anatomy class to show how each component of the body builds it in the whole body. I then use this same approach to show how they will use the things they are learning in their daily careers.
Out of all the factors discussed that influence learning does one trump over the other or they all equally weighted?
